July 7th - Monterey

7th July - We spent almost all day in Monterey, in the Aquarium for the most part then drove down to San Simeon.

The Sea Otters were the very best thing, followed by the pretty Albatross!

Then we found an Elephant Seal beach

fearless little ground squirrels (being fed by other peeps

We spent the night in San Simeon Motel 6 (had bad service in the attached diner, but tipped because it was the only place to have breakfast :/) - The 8th saw us visiting Hearst Castle
