In regards to the upcoming charity walk of Hadrian's Wall - we finally managed to sort out a justgiving website for sponsorship - so if any of you are interested in sponsoring me/donating to a good cause the page is here: http://www.justgiving.com/archaeologygirls
There's a link to our blog too on the site(with it's first entry done too *is accomplished*)

On second viewing, Iron Man is still one of the best films I've seen in a while (the best comic adaption in AGES IMHO)- and it was fun seeing it with someone who hadn't seen it yet - watching reactions and such (there was some clutching and gasping during the tense parts *lol*)
Okay so I absolutely adored all the little touches - (I missed some undoubtebly - as the friend I went to see it with last night spotted a Jeff Bridges fan shout out in the files) - that made it clear that the people making it knew the subject matter :)
It's been AGES since I watched the cartoon - and I really need to read the comics properly *g* - so I am undoubtebly much easier to please than other Iron Man fans - but I loved it none the less. I could understand why they changed bits etc - and it was done well.
The Iron Man and Hulk cartoons were two of my favourites as a kid - so I'm amazingly happy that this film was good (do not speak of the Hulk film with Eric Bana *shudders*)
Loved Robert Downey Jr (but that's no surprise - as I love him in most things - ever since the first time I saw him in 'Ally McBeal') - he really played Tony well. Loved the rest of the cast too :)
I did however - love the robots more - like little puppies...just less fluffy *g*
Also - does anyone have any idea who did the voice for 'Jarvis'? there's no listing on IMDB - and I really want to know *pouts*
It was DARK as well - not hugely - but enough to fit with the nature of Iron Man - which I loved (and a 12A - seriously - there are 15s these days that are fluffier)- the music was good (yes there was a moment at the beginning were I had a SPN moment *lol*)
The visual effects were good too *nods* - and it had a good amount of serious v. humour - which was also good.
So yes - this shall be added to the DVD collection very happily :)
So yes - I shall be going to see the 'Incredible Hulk' film - the trailer was shown last night - and I squee'd a little - because it looks good too *hopes*
Then I'll just spend an insane amount of time waiting for the Avengers film *g*
