Shorter days...
Oct. 26th, 2016 09:25 pmI honestly can't believe it's almost the end of October! (at the same time, 2016 is almost over - lets hope 2017 is kinder? *crosses fingers*)
Watched the last Great British Bake Off I will probably ever watch (channel 4 plus none of same presenters....but Paul H still? Nope. And knowing four they will let it be edgy.).
Nano is coming! If you're doing it this year, I'm weaselett on there too, so if you want a writing buddy find me ;)
It's been a weird time at the moment? It was Scottish half term last week so lots of Scottish families, it's half term most other places this week so lots of families, and it's actually Lancashire half term next week.........Seriously school term dates this year have been horrific (the poor people who had older kids off the first two weeks of April, then younger off the last two - that's like, almost all your leave if you're single.....)
Also I finished, finally, my proof of my soft Ammit (Egyptian myth - head of croc, upper of lion/cheetah, back of hippo). Need to work on the proportions of the hippo bit, but doesn't look too bad:
