weaselettGot the second disk today - watched all of it (revision, ummm, i organised my notes?) - was better than the first disk - liked Ex Deus Machina - through, it sooo could have been a two parter....
Couldn't help but snigger when 'the far side of the moon' was said - don't know why - there's a reason (besides the song i can think of) i just can't put my finger on it - and no, it's not because i suddenly pictured a clangers cross (oh god - how funny that would be *giggles* soup dragon.....tis bad, silence brain!) Other than that, there's still, i dunno, it's kinda brief, you wonder what the hell you're missing at times.
Beachhead - i wasn't overly impressed with. I saw the whole thing coming about five mintues in - and so spent a long time glaring at newly returned Sam. Couldn't help it. Ignoring Vala, when she seemed to have valid points AND was right the whole time - uh, duh? There was no real reason why they were blanking her. *shakes head*
Also - anyone noticed that Daniel seems to be leaving his glasses behind more and more? I have crappy eyesight, well not completely crappy, but i need glasses - and even when using bins (binoculars) i have to wear them still - or what i see is just so much fuzz, but Daniel took his off..... he's also not wearing them in the lab.
I dunno - there's just little things, that aren't right - and i can kinda get why some people have been going 'WTF Daniel?!?' The Daniel/Vala stuff, not so bad, but she's still to grow on me - Mitchell, umm, he still kinda feels like a Marty-stu, everyone likes him etc, but am giving him a chance. Ties That Bind - would have liked to see when he first got sick, not just a flash. A lot of the time, there's too much, in too little time with these eps.
Talked to the mei-mei today finally - she's not watched any of S9 yet, despite having all of it, cos she's not sure due to S8 disappointments. And i can see her point. There are some eps that i will not watch, unless i'm thinking Plotbunnies, and i have to take the damn thing into consideration. Through, there are days when i seriously consider deleting Gemini, cos, it saves a whole lot of hell. Replicators, gone. Why? Jack's weapon. No Gemini, no cypher. Also, no Reckoning and 2nd ascendation, that's never actually explained. He would die or ascend. BUT he turned up, nekkid in Jack's office, with all his memories, and knew enough to know how Anubis went bye-bye. WTF? Plot holes. Dear god. The Plot holes. *shudders*.
In other news - have got to start a fic - so i can safely ignore/plan out the others before i start them. Before the plot bunnies rebel and i end up writing TTTB in my Themes exam. That would be BAD.
