No work on TTTB yet *ducks head* but am going to work on it!! honest....blame the da - asking for my address (he really needs to get a notebook...) and then informing me that i'll be getting something from amazon in the next few days - that i can't open until my b-day - it's like, temptation in the evilest form!! but, it's only a little over a week......*headesk*
sleep last night - much disturbed - need a mute button for drunken housemates at 4 in the morning - and the police that were called out to deal with them *head desk* but the house is clean...ish now. *sigh*
been watching Babylon 5 season one (been soooo long - jeff, how i missed thee) with james and sci-fi hesistant trowel-queen *giggles* she's now starting to have a thing for sci-fi - through she wanted to rewatch the four eps from today to make sure she hadn't missed anything - tis weird for me- eight years, but i remember some of the later stuff, so i keep sniggering as gaps are filled.....yep, am tragic - have been sci-fi mad since i can remember - if its been on BBC/ITV/4/5 i've seen at least an episode - Sliders, Quantum Leap (if my spelling bad - oophs), all the series of star trek, farscape, doctor who, red dwarf (it's sci-fi!!! tis on a ship :P), and numerous others, some that didn't last very long, others that i would remember if i were to watch them again - plus of course my favourite stargate - some of the more recent stuff has been a result of friends with sky through - Battlestar - or films - firefly *squee* - fantasy stuff (it's hard to but a name to it - kinda sci-fi but kinda fantasy but kinda horror) like xena, buffy and angel i watched too, and charmed - through there are sooo many people that hate it. Charmed was good for three seasons then it went down hill. Mainly due to the kinda non-canon 'fourth' sister angle. but i'm still watching - new things that i can get my teeth into, good or bad, are always good - but i also used to have a big thing for the detective shows - wycliffe, daziel and pascoe, midsummer murders, rebus (*sob*) but it's gotten to the point that while they're still going (not wycliffe, that's just repeats now) they're not as good. Troy left Midsummer and i stopped watching a series later, cos, god how many people can die in the same place? D and P don't follow the books anymore, so they're different then how they started and rebus went and got re-cast. *sighs* but that's just the way of the world these days ain't it?
