weaseletthalter neck tops are bad *nods wisely* especially those dresses that you have to tie it. if i ever write someone wearing one? they going to feel the pain. lol. i have pretty red rashy areas on either side of my neck - and under my arms *winces* - didn't feel sore last night - however this morning - t'was known.
it was the arch soc party last night - through went out before - Caz's b-day, 20th woo - she started drinking at 2pm. *shakes head*. my birthday - cinema/tv watchage. preferably of the new dvd goodness....lol. yeah i know what peeps thinking.
I spent 5pm till midnight in 3 1/2 inch heels (i was 5'7!!!lol), bright red lipstick - that managed to get everywhere *head desk* and my black halter neck dress (otherwise known as my ONLY dress, lol). was very very cold. and shall never do it again. unless it's not winter/spring/autumn.......
today on the other hand - was the field trip. Archaeology is fun. Can't argue with that. But we're all frigging insane. Six hours in the freezing cold surveying barrows and a hill fort. And me in a rather thin 3 layers. First 3 hours we (me, caz (who hadn't slept...) and shona) did plain tabling - poles, paper, a tripod, table, and measuring tape - on the barrows. which the rabbits love = apparently (as has been said - Anya ain't the only who hates bunnies. through - i can say it was chalk.....). The we surveyed the hill fort (Badbury rings...) kinda, we ran out of time...so half did. levels and the gandalf staff (measuring type poles - that are very very scary when fully extended. series of metre poles - they sway and everything *lol*) named as such after Ben threw the comment at me while i was trying to keep ours level, against the wind, at 3m extenstion. I then took every oppertunity to inform peeps - rather loudly - that they couldn't pass *blinks* - pretty sure i'm now the insane one *grins*. felt sorry for the marine lot - they aren't likely to be using any of this stuff (when pointed out - one of them (the welsh girl... - shuddered at the thought of even trying.)the earlier use of the pole for plain tabling may also have added to this thought...they make bad javalins.....seriuosly - that or i'm just really bad at it....
