weaselettReasons why research is BAD (as well as, by neccesary good...) -
* you start seeing the points were other AUs can come from - and run alt endings through your head - never a good thing - espec if one of the plot bunnies or. god forbid, one of the muses likes that idea....
* you find things which relate to that story, that you were working on before, but are well and truly stuck on and want to leave, and end up either hitting the bunny over the head with a shade or making frantic notes before trying to focus on the fic you're researching for again...*head desk*
* you remember why you were considering sending weekly memos to the writers - or reminders that there was a season before that one
and many many more reasons - lol - heaven forbid i ever actually manage to write anything CANON. Jeez, that's just crazy. I mean why do that when i can play??? *lol*
