Sorry for long radio silence - it has been a crazy month.

Health stuffs - 1: Had MRI (in trailer in hospital car park - not weird at all?) and await results

2. Had suppressant, t injection thing (steroid on nerve in back of head) on thursday - has not reduced pain, has just added an ache and pain if tilt head certain way. Am not convinced it worth a second try in three months. Not pleasant. :/

3: I put this off for ages while trying to sort the more serious stuff, but have been referred for tests re: skin allergies (after Dr was all 'never heard of someone being allergic to E45' and me later texting all skin issues people and making them face palm, because lanolin is a stupidly common allergen, despite being used as a carrier in non allergenic stuffs - said dr then suggested use of a cream that has lanolin (I did not know this, as thought she would have checked? brought and read full list and face palmed - found replacement free of lanolin thurs).

Initially she has said that she was told that they don't do patch tests anymore, because of time and cost - and I would have to make a list of what I have reactions to and avoid those - my reply was 'I really just want something I can use to reduce the itch/swelling' from reactions' - she hedged and suggested just trying steroid creams straight off (me O.O nope) I returned with would be more comfortable knowing what am allergic to before that (1. because da has three A4 sides of his, 2. because I know steroids thin the skin and are not for regular use so would not be good)

Am a bit miffed by the suggested alternate and the fact patch tests are considered a waste - because you know, it could actually save/change someone's life? It's good to know what you're allergic to.

Finally managed to get 'will poke dermatology' and then had a letter with referal so yay - am crossing fingers for helpful result. (I mean currently I suspect lanolin as used in creams (I am not allergic to most pure wools, so it's something in the refining). I know I am allergic to 'lace' aka I am allergic to 90% of women's underwear, and am a woman. My life is full of 'I have a weird bra size, and can only wear some sports bras because all the others have lace' - maybe pears, but no idea what causes my hand and elbow rashes besides 'something in the water')

The kittens are growing - it's way too hot (we need a thunder storm to break the closeness) - and I need to post pictures from weekend in Whitby.

Hope people are well.
