So, between work and my off computer breaks, I managed to finish The Hunger Games Trilogy - and while I didn't love 'Mockingjay' as much as the other two - the following has to be said:
I ADORE Peeta Mellark
Most of my problems with 'Mockingjay' are the same as I have with a lot of books, it had a rather abrupt ending, like she had a word limit and needed to tie it all up really fast.
I have no idea how I feel about the film, but we'll see ;) - but anyone who hasn't read them, they are well worth the read (I read the first one at home, while reading the second Bones book at work - they are good enough I started reading the second and third in work, and answered questions when people asked what I was reading ;))
In other news, I am officially enrolled on a Profiling course (two hours a week, for four weeks, starting at the end of the month - during which I have to write profile on an unsolved crime, come up with a reason, from interviews, why a convicted criminal did what they did, and describe top-down and bottom-up profiling - which is all rather scary right now, but it'll be nice to get out of the house and learn stuff ;))
My
cmbigbang fic is finally all up. Now I just need to get my draft for
oc_bigbang done *is crazy*
