Lack of Internet

weaselettOk, so for anyone who has been wondering where I went the answer is I lost internet for almost two full weeks.
I left for London/Croydon for a long weekend (which was much fun *hugs the Llama and the Dragon*) and the internet was at that point working - I got back on the monday, needing the internet for stuff, but it was dead. And remained so until today.
I was not impressed. It is now fixed, hopefully for good (aka until I move back north in September).
Now I can stop going mental due to lack of internet and get the dissertation done.
ETA - WARNING, ALLUSIONS TO POSSIBLY TRIGGERY STUFF. Yeah just found more stuff about the next season of Torchwood (via my catch up on fandom using torchwood three), I will not be watching unless someone I know and trust has watched first and told me that it is safe to watch. Seriously, reading the way RTD talks about the bit of the spoilers that bothers me hugely, just NO. See my previous post here, they are way too dismissive over the fact it might bother people, I am a bit offended honestly (as someone who has a valid reason to be 'bothered' by it ARGH). I just *head desk*.
Someone poke me when people start treating all triggery stuff equally? Please.
ETA Two - ok, so at some point, is there someone braver than me who would be willing to help me draft/post a request that people start warning for this stuff? Because more and more now I keep stumbling across stuff because it isn't wanred for. It might be something that happens elsewhere online as well, but I haven't seen it to this extent before. I've seen fics where the issue is covered, but they ALWAYS have it in the warnings. I just don't know what to do about this whole situation. *sighs*
