Music share meme snagged from
thinkpink20 because I can never resist an opportunity to share music ;)
I've discovered some great music from people on my flist. Upload (to anywhere - there are lots of places to use for this, like e.g. SendSpace) a song you love, particularly if it's something you've discovered recently. If you want to, explain why you chose what you did. Then save all the songs posted on your f-list and make yourself an LJ Friends playlist/CD/whatever.
Go go go!
(I am also going to cheat and od more than one :))
Don't Stop Believing Journey|glee version
I have loved this song for a while, but have come back to it due to watching glee, which is a fun show, if only for the music :) I like both the original and the glee duet version for different reasons - I love the lyrics too.
Maybe This Time Glee version
This song is from Cabaret, which I have never seen all of *hangs head in shame*, but which has some really good songs (I've seen half of the musical - ma has it on DVD), and this is another one rediscovered via Glee. Damn *g* ;0 It's a good hopeful song. (I suck at explained why I like songs ;))
She Ran Amy Studt
I always liked Amy Studt, but she went quite for a while and I never saw anything more, until I stumbled across this song a month or so back. The lyrics are sad, but it's a wonderful song anyway ;)
