Has anyone else seen the trailer for the new Sherlock Holmes film?? o.O

If not - it's on IMDB - and it made me giggle because it is crazy and just so NOT Sherlock Holmes. Though I had a feeling that would be a case from who's directing it and the fact it's listed as an 'action' film *head desk*

It's like 'yes we iz doin' Sherlock Holmz and it iz epic LOLZ'

I love Robert Downey Jn. - I really do - and his accent in the trailer is perfect at points - but the whole of the rest of it? *giggles* (the costumes in the promos made me wince) - I love Mark Strong as well but *throws up hands*

if I go see it? It's for the pretty and the LOLZ

-

Another trailer that I've now stumbled across however - made me SQUEE *dances*

The trailer for 'The Time Travelers Wife' is finally around *bounces* - also in IMDB - and oh LOVE

Though Eric Bana's accent is the same as it is in Star Trek (Henry's NERO!?!? *giggles*)

Now I just have to convince ma that she really really wants to go see it when it comes out.

I am following F-1 again I am afraid *scuffs foot* - I like Button - I am kinda 'meh' about Hamilton - thus me being happy this year. *nods*

Oh - and Rubens Barrichello looks SO MUCH like Dwight Schultz - TRU FAX

Also - I am starting to get annoyed with the BBC over Torchwood: Children of Earth - and yes this is sports related - in a round about way.

Apparently the series is going to be aired in under two weeks (week of 4-10 July) - and yet there still hasn't been any TV adverts.

Why is this mini rant Sports related you ask? Answer= because it was the British Grand Prix this weekend - which was being shown on BBC - a British driver is doing well this year - and it was possibly the last Silverston grand prix - AND YET BBC did not use this as an opportunity to advertise Torchwood (Hell they didn't even offer Brawn money to advertise Torchwood on their cars ala Terminator *sighs*)

Also - today - less than two weeks from when it's meant to start - Andy Murray played his first game at Wimbledon (which could have been his last - the way it was going) - was there an advert for Torchwood during this match which would be watched by more people because it's a British player? NO.

*SIGHS*

Damn you BBC.

Also - if they decide to not advertise until next week? could be bad. If Murray fails out of Wimbledon (it's possible - he's done well this year with Queens (\o/) but there's no certainty that he'll get all that far at Wimbledon) then less people will be watching next week.

Next week, when like this week, over half of the day on both main BBC channels is nothing but Wimbledon coverage.

If there aren't any British players left (I need to check if The Other Murray (Jamie), who I love more, is playing in doubles again this year) the amount of people actually watching Wimbledon will be reduced. Viewing figures will be low throughout most of the day due to disinterest - so the Torchwood adverts will get little love during the day - the only times they might get attention is evenings (on One - cos on Two that's still Tennis).

HOPEFULLY though, they will have the sense to get someone (not John as the poor Lamb broke himself) from the cast on The One Show, breakfast etc next week *crosses fingers*

Now if they would just update the BBC Torchwood website with the actual times and dates - as they should have done as they've done the press release already. *sigh*

EDIT: Jamie is playing \o/ *yay* hopefully his game goes well later *crosses fingers*
also - radio times has now listed torchwood as being on 9-10pm on the 67th and 7th July (as far as it presently shows up to)
