Dear Crossovering Writer
Jun. 27th, 2015 11:33 pmHello Crossovering Writer - so this is my first time writing one of these, firstly thanks for signing up and, second I promise I'm pretty easy to please ;)
Things I like: I have a long list of things I like mainly - character exploration, gen, teams as family, hurt/comfort where the focus is on the comfort, ladies interacting, ladies and men being bros, interesting what-if AUs/Fusions. Genderbends are great, messing with ages is fine.
Things I don't like: Incest, Non-Con, Dub-Con that's handwaved as being ok. I don't like huge divergence in characterization (aka where a character only vaguely resembles their canon version).
Other than those few things, pretty much anything goes.
Ok, so my requests:
One - Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, Elementary, Emelan, Tortall
Fusion of Criminal Minds or Elementary or Numb3rs with Tortall/Emelan - who would be gifted, who would be knights, who would be rogues, which would below to a circle temple
I love the concepts of Tamora Pierces worlds - and how characters would be if they existed in those kinds of fantasy worlds.
Who/what would these character be in those universes - how do mathematicians, profilers, FBI agents, investigators translate across to those worlds?
I love the idea of the CM team in Emelan, as a mix of ambient and academic mages (Hotch with an unexpected ambient magic - Rossi and Reid academic mages).
Sherlock in Tortall - Joan basically just facepalming as he offends all the nobles but has random bonds with rogues.
Two - Daredevil, Elementary, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Castle, Agent Carter
Daredevil meets any of the other New York teams - or Castle in the 99......
So they're all based in the same city - imagine if they were in the same universe? If Beckett dreaded Castle meeting any of the 99 crew, Sherlock tracking down Matt Murdock or Joan walking in on Sherlock and Daredevil during single stick training.....
Or old school ties back to Agent Carter (Angie's family, she's someone's awesome great aunt)
Three - Angel, Numb3rs, Veronica Mars
Cross them however you want - bonus is you have Doyle back from the dead/never died - maybe Veronica joins Angel Investigations.....or the Eppes boys try to deal with Angel and the gang
This is another 'they are based close by, what if they crossed paths?' one. Cross either Numb3rs or Veronica Mars with Angel and you get some fun, people being stubborn about whether vampires are real convos and pouts.
Four - Pacific Rim, Elementary, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, Castle
Crime show teams in their jaegars. seriously.
Pacific Rim fusions, they are a thing. With this, unexpected pairings, or plays on them would be amazing. Having Moriarty and Sherlock being drift compatible in theory, but a complete mess in reality (and Moriarty having issues with other people being Sherlock's partner).
Aaron Hotchner waiting for a potential partner for years, working on training other pilots, only to find that he's drift compatible with Ashley Seaver/Kate Callahan (bonus if Rossi/Morgan are a pair, and have the love hate relationship of sniping doom). Or Edgerton/Fleinhardt. Or even merge a few and have the range of pilot groups.
Pairings- if you want them, go for it. I am a mulitshipper so anything goes, so long as it's not incest.
Characters- All the ladies. There are not enough of the ladies. Male characters wise - Aaron Hotchner*, Derek Morgan, David Rossi, Colby Granger*, David Sinclair*, Ian Edgerton*, Sherlock, Doyle*, Richard Castle, Keith Mars*, Matt Murdock
And that's it - I hope there's something that catches your imagination in all of that :)
