The father's parentals have suddenly hit guilt trip ville and decided they love me after all - and it's scarying me badly - i mean i got a letter from the grandparents who have been around me all my life (we lived 16 miles away from them for 7 years or so, they visited every weekend more or less) but know so very little about me - saying that if i should need anything i can ask (within in reason of course) - very very freaky - and it in no way makes me anymore inclined to ask them for help then i would ever have done before - does that make me a terrible granddaughter? Meh, i'll probably never talk to them again (not that i have actually spoken to them for more than 5 minutes since i was 10 and vaguely interesting to them) now that i'm semi-out on my own two feet .my mum's parentals on the other hand - i will talk to - my gran is lovely - and knows tonnes more about me despite not ever having lived nearby - weird isn't it? - she even read two of my fics once..... lol
