So, it has kinda been an age since my last update! Sorry! - I am going to try and be more regular.
I was away over my birthday weekend (thanks to those who sent birthday wishes!) Two nights in a Hobbit hole in the lakes than a night in Doncaster - lots of driving (and being horrified by the littering - SOMEONE THREW A BOUNCY BALL OUT OF THEIR WINDOW ON THE M62?!? It was FUN all the random stuff people toss out windows while doing 80+ mph)
But look pretty animals!

IN other news: Northern Rail sucks (like, there are issues in the south, but no where near as bad as with Northern, the national news was all' but the southern rails services aren't perfect either!' when talking about it, when actually, no county down south has had all of it's train services withdrawn by a service and replaced with buses. I work with people who use/partners use Northern to get to work, and the lack of a service to the lakes? That effects a lot of people, especially as the bus replacements are nowhere near as fast.....)
But the government are making excuses for them so :/ - seems like no matter what we're stuck with them. (with bonus HS2 is still apparently worth it when they aren't finishing electrifying the north....and another heathrow runway. *sighs*)
The sugar tax came in - and I am now down to being able to drink a really limited range of things. As someone who didn't drink diet drinks (if someone served me diet instead, I took a sip, noticed and stopped drinking them) I did not actually know that apparently I am intolerant to sweeteners?
They either: trigger migraines, or 'irritate' my stomach - neither is pleasant or healthy.
(From doctors comments in interviews about this, they know this is a thing? And is c50% of people? One doctor even said it's a minor thing, over possibly preventing obesity? If everyone has the same level of effect as I get, there are a lot of people ill because of these sweeteners, and that to me, is worse.)
So I can now drink: water, tea, hot chocolate, original coca cola and appletiser. Oh and expensive cordials because they are still sugar rather than sweetner. (Flavoured waters and squash are now all sweetener having :/) This was fun when I was away and walking all day. *sighs*

I hope other peeps have been having a better time of things!
