Given everything with Librarians this year, I don't know if some of it is exec meddling? But it's like they decided that Cassie had to change in weird ways because she no longer has a lingering early best before.... (Last year was a little varied as well, but no where near as much)
Heh - I would half say wait to catch up with discovery until season 2 - cos at least it'll save you having to endure whatever cliffhanger is prob coming ;)
