It's eurovision day - I don't watch it, but it's hard to escape it *g* - it's also spring bank holiday weekend - and the Queen is visiting Lancaster on friday (so glad that I am not in work - I can avoid all the crazyness, and road closures, and crowds, and get stuff done at home). Apparently I am weird for not wanting to see the Queen (some peeps I work with are on the actual face to face meeting list, it amusing).
Been crazy busy week - am doing an installation as part of the next exhibition - but couldn't start it proper until had the base, which have to modify as it does not actually fit the plans given to the techs *face palms*
Just over a month until holiday! (Am at the 'oh god' stage of pre-holidayness - poking plans, and eying finances) Thanks for all the advice on my post :) (I meant to answer peeps sooner, but been a crazy week)
I now have an interview for possible new job on wed (I had to sort cover for myself and it's the holidays, thankfully found someone).
The boy and ma are sadly similar - boy is currently tormenting his other half the same way ma does us (the 'jokes' that are more like guilt trips/set up for a negative reaction - but neither of them think there's anything wrong with it 'face palms*). He's extra scatty as he had all his final college stuff as well. I feel for her sometimes (they have four kids, so him being an arse is kinda, yeah).
