Have the internet - am nearly completely unpacked (after three weeks...) and settled in - and i only have a week left on the dig. Which, is, really, both a good and a bad thing.
Archaeological digs are just so much more than what most people think they are. For one thing - i have yet to dig a single feature, but i've done 12 edges, and am presently working through the layers of backfill of a ditch. I've been edging in my sleep, literally. I keep getting confused over why my pillow's in the trench, tis bad.
lol. anyhoo - just quick to prove i'm still alive, and offer an explaination as to why i haven't posted. ie. i am too dead by the time i get home. (6.30 wake up, 18.30 home.) lol. but will be trying harder.
