weaselettOK, so I just finished watching the Castle season finale....
OMG I CRIED....AM STILL CRYING
*FLAILS*
OK, so note: I watch everything while sewing, which is why I watch most things alone in my room (the only real fluff free space in the house) - I had to put down my patchwork about ten minutes from the end.I kept sewing through that episode of criminal minds *coughs*
It may not have been the most amazing and tight piece of writing ever, BUT ZOMG that episode? *flails*
So, strike one, Roy is cop three, strike two, he's known and been in on it all since before he met Beckett, strike three, ROY *flails*, strike four, BECKETTTTTTT
(I have to say though, Dear Roy's family, did you never get the 'random declarations of love are a bad thing' memo? (no seriously in real life? I've done it and people I've known have done it, so it's not just a tv thing, but it's something that gets mentioned so much I always yell at the TV))
*breathes*
It was nice, the fact they kept good ensemble writing, and it was an amazing episode, they got so much in - I think I kinda need to go back and rewatch the whole show with this in mind (I wonder if this was always in their show bible - which Castle's writers do actually seem to have, maybe because the creator actually writes books as well as tv IDK)
The BOYS OH - the whole scene after the photo? how ryan knows and accepts, even if he doesn't like it, while Esposito is in denial and just so perfect.
Martha *pets* - and we got to see Roy's family, just *flails* - and Beckett's dad.....
OK, so, my money is on the mayor being behind it all, but it might be someone else. I'm just thinking the mayor. I wonder if we'll find out in season four?or it could be castle's dad. or the next arc could be about castle's dad, not that we actually need to know who castle's dad is
The sad thing? I was actually thinking about this before, like last week, how there are shows that can get away with killing main characters and continuing, and how Castle could kill Beckett and still work, because Castle is the only real main character, even if beckett has always shared the emphasis. (ditto The Mentalist - Lisbon could die), but now that they might have done it? *FLAILS*
Am still a little o.O though cos DUDE that was two BIG deaths (possibly) in a really short period. *whimpers*.
When is season four starting?
(PLEASE GOD PEOPLE DON'T SPOIL ME - AKA DON'T EVEN RETWEET STUFF ABOUT WHO IS ON SET - I may want to know, but I want to know in the sense of 'can i haz season four nao?' rather than 'feed me spoilers' - thank you :))
YOU CAN WRITE ME HOT BECKETT/CASTLE/HOTCH PORN THOUGH *puppy dog eyes* (I'm writing Castle/Hotch, it's lots of pieces atm, and there might be a threesome, but there might be open relationships or poly, cos yeah, Castle? such a poly it's stupid).
