Okay - so I just found a video of the Stargate panel at Dragoncon on youtube and *is goo* Michael Shanks and Paul McGillion were sat next to each other - really close to one another - it's like *meep*

I so need to find someone - or bribe people to give me some - good pictures of those two like that - cos seriously - it's the almost Carson/Daniel *is a puddle of goo*

Plus - those two - in the same room next to each other?? It's like sooo much pretty.

So I may be on the verge of crawling out of the pretty hole I found myself in after writing Equilibrium - on this, the sixth rewrite of the beginning of the next fic, which is completely different from the previous attempts. So, hopefully, at some point this year, there will be more of that series appearing, and when that happens, I will be posting the touched up versions of the previous four before hand, so when they appear, take it as a sign.
I considered doing a sequel to another of my old fics, but in all honesty, both of the ones that sequels have been suggested for were written in High school and that was a long time ago and my writing is not the same.

The epic Carson/Daniel is coming along, through I keep having to delete things/remind myself that I can tell things through carson's perspective as well - I'm just so damned scared he'll come out all OCC. *head desk* But I am hopeful.

I have one out of two songs......*sighs*
the paternal one didn't check the disks - so I have one out of two songs - so the Carson/Daniel mix is now only one song off complete

Am battling with timelining for the Carson/Daniel fic - and OMG - it's damn hard!!
If anyone has/knows of a good, full timeline for SG-1 and SGA - that relates between the two?? Point me that way, cos, *meep* it's a whole lotta mind field *nods*

I know that for the whole Rising/S8 bit - canon went on crack where any form of timeline is concerned - I have made my decisions regarding that particular period of time (doing my best not to screw canon SG-1 too much *g*) - but for the more recent stuff (I can say where Pegasus Project fits in SGA canon, I know the SG-1 eps that Critical Mass has to be before...) I have very little idea and the more I look the harder it is to timeline *g* (and the more s10 eps that air...*meep*).

So yeah - any help - suggestions - throw 'em my way.

Also - not relevant for this particular fic - but may be for later installments/ sg_pegasus - if anyone can guide me on the right path as far as what Carson's medical training would have been like (have an idea of present practices- and I can always bribe the Mam for info on how the nurses of Carson's age group where trained) I would be eternally grateful for a little guidance.

OK - so there are a grand total of, 26 'episodes' of sg_pegasus planned, with 3 to go, this being composed of season 3.6 (5 stories) and season 4 (22 - 2 more than SGA has ever run for) - hopefully however, once season 3.6 is done (with me and the lovely charlies_dragon writing them - with two betas, the wonderful teapot_women and rockboytoren), we'll get a few more people on board to help out with seeing season 4 through - which looks like it may be very interesting and is going in a completely different direction than canon SGA - but I won't give any spoilers yet. If ever. However - if just off this tiny little mention you're interested, go check out the community's main page, or drop me a line, I'll be happy to give you a short taster.

I'll be starting work on the opener 'Bellerophon falling' soon enough, but in the mean time 'Hiding in Plain Sight' my monster of a Carson/Daniel fic is well under way and I hope to have the prologue and opening part up before the end of next week - so fingers crossed. It does all depend however, on me getting at least two pages into part 2.

So - lots of work to do!

After doing more of less five days in London - and this would be the first post of two for tonight (i'll post about Wolf Pegasus Two tomo - when i'm more awake...well, after lectures)

Fan Fiction Update - Am working on three mainly at the moment, a long Daniel/Carson fic, which is at an 'awkward' stage, the next Immortals fic (part five - eek) which needs some major editing/rewriting and the opening fic for sg_pegasus which is going to be very fun to write.

Have had very little sleep - the weasel and hard wood floors? not best friends when it comes to sleep - plus the knee was being pissy again. It really hates me so it does. lol. So, sorry if I sound crazy or make no sense - it's the lack of sleep talking!!

am done posting - Playing messenger has been posted in more places than ANY of the others - so, now i get to sit and look scared - and try to coax Carson muse into being cooperative so i can get the next Carson/Daniel fic done sooner. So - more season 1 episodes to re-watch me thinks. Oh, and uni again monday. Eek. And town on wed to make sure all things are sorted. *head desk* lol.

Why can't i remember the titles of the damn poems?!? lol. Am so close to finishing my first ever Carson/Daniel fic that it's stupid - but i got distracted looking for the poems that i had to learn back in primary school. Nothing teaches you the scottish dialect better than learning the poems!!! (i was in scotland - where they actually make kids remember things - versus england, where they don't seen to care *rolls eyes*) One was, i swear about a frog, and the other kids in the mines. But i can't for the life of me remember the titles!!
Oh - to have my scottish accent back so i didn't have to hunt around to check that i'm getting the dialect right. Also - to confuse people even more than i do as it is. lol.
I love having a 'weird' accent. Everyone at work thought i was australian when i started *rolls eyes*. It's a highland/cornish/swampy/essex/lancashire accent. In other words, i roll my 'r's half the time, when i get annoyed no english person can understand me. and i talk faster than your average brit. Oh, and i say 'th' poshly, or so i've been told.
Lol - completely random *head desk* - back to the fic!!!
