Superheroes and kittens
Appointment went better, I think - have a scan and some injections and actual follow up will be occuring, so happier than this time last week.
Finally decided to go and see Batman v Superman, and enjoyed it (have to be honest, DC kinda wins on that one - cos they have done better with starting justice league stuffs than Marvel did with Avengers, and the messy X-Men stuff)
So I took a while to go see it, because I wasn't sure, but I enjoyed it, it was pretty well paced and balanced. I love that all the women got actual plots and purpose, and there wasn't just loads of white people (WW is a WOC, we had Perry and Jenny, and looks like 2/3 to be fully introduced boys are POC - and this is from the get go rather than having to wait).
It honestly felt like Diana spent the whol film watching the boys waiting for them to either learn to play together, or mess it all up, and sigh eyed rolled and headed off to save their asses. ALSO they didn't retcon her. I am so insanely happy that she is olllllddddd. (My biggest issue with Natasha and Raven in the films is that they erased half the important history, and the fact that they are Cap and Logan's female equivs). The WWI era pic also got me excited for her solo film (well more excited).
I liked Ben Affleck as Batman - which I think is a rare opinion? Not sure. Also love Alfred, so much.
But yes - so much happy about the fact the women were as active and important as the men (even if poor Mercy didn't get treated so well).
Through my brain was like 'Bruce is a Winchester Talbot?' heh
And pictures of our little fluffy additions, Mr looks like a snow leopard Tobermoray, and his dark sister Ailsa.
