Another Saturday night

Another review post with all possible spoilers behind cuts

First up - Doctor Who s3 ep12 -

Okay - this episode really disappointed me - none of the things I wanted answered from last week was really covered - it was one of those episodes younger kids would enjoy I think but I didn't really.

Martha - still good

Jack - *hugs* - poor thing

The Doctor - much better than last week, but at the same time, he's more 9 than 10 I think

The Master - *winces* - just, no - some bits were fine - the rest, cringe worthy. The wife was freaky - and damn annoying - couldn't she have been written to be slightly more, something??

I'm annoyed about the misuse of the futurekind - they could have been a really interesting thing to explore - instead - they're forgotten - the cliff hanger from last week - made more or less pointless

*sighs* It was just BAD - the plot holes where many. Am also a little insulted for the Torchwood kids *fumes*

In the end though - I think the main problem is that it's too soon for the story - more hints and explanations needed to be spread throughout this season - it shouldn't rely so much on three other episodes.
Also - maybe - RTD shouldn't have been the one to write it...

I'm not happy - but will keep an..open mind until I see next weeks conclusion.

Next Jekyll part 2

The later half of this episode was very interesting - the writing was still good as well.

It dropped even more hints in - it answered some questions (who dropped him at the station - he's not the first to have it since the original)

I'm not too sure about whether it will hold out for the full six episodes though, as at the moment it feels like it could only last two more at most - but we shall see.

Also - I will have to see if I can find it online at some point and watch the beginning *g*

And finally - John Barrowman, you naughty man, being setting alarms off doing that kind of thing in the Prince's garden.

Now back to season 3 of Star Trek TNG - how I missed it *data love*
