Doctor Who - Doomsday
*Flails* OHMYGOD...lol
It's gotta be said, they did damn well keeping the ending as quiet as they did...this year. Rose was going to die. Only, actually, she doesn't. Even through me and Da swore that mr disappearing dalek was going to appear, shot at the doctor but hit rose (and then there would have been doctor Angst - and the dalek wouldn't be too bothered cos she deserved it - rubbing it in 'his' face the way she did that she'd killed all the rest of his kind)....and i nearly fainted when she said about the baby (i blame the Rose/Doctor Shippers...damn them..lol).
But overall - my main reaction? I can see why James has stopped watching. The story line needed more time to play out. It just seemed like way to much to fit into that 45min. I mean, the Dalek AND the cybermen. Defeated in one episode? *blinks* And they were so close to being the best part of the whole episode - the insults they threw at each other *lol* was good!
They still haven't answered the whole Jack thing. They still don't know that Jack's still alive! He's still stuck where they left him! Anyone?
There's still a dalek out there (Mr Black Dalek), so they will no doubt be playing with him again. The Cybermen are gone (at least from those two universes). Rose, Jackie, Mickey and AU!Pete are still alive - but in the other universe. So we shouldn't be seeing them again (through....there has been things said *sighs*)
AND we have weird loud-mouthed bride woman on the TARDIS. *sniggers* the Christmas special could be fun. The runaway bride.
The episode was good - through Rose, was at her worst for most of it. But i still like her, cos you can understand, to an extent why she was how she was. And it's going to take a little while to get used to the Doctor's next companion, whoever it ends up being.
But yeah - it was an interesting ep - that kinda tied up some threads - and kinda left some hanging. Looking forward to what comes next.
