i've seen the sun
kinda *g*
after two weeks spent almost completely in the house I braved the outdoors and went into Blackpool to go to the cinema with a friend. We went to see 'The Incredible Hulk' - I am a happy nerd *nods*.
Ok - so I HATED the Eric Bana Hulk - it was BAD (it took one of my favourite things and stomped all over it *glares*) - this film however *bounces*
It wasn't perfect - but this and Iron Man have restored some of my faith in these films (ok - almost all - I WILL happily go to see the avengers film, Iron Man 2 etc - whatever they make - as long as these boys are still on board?!? I will be there *nods*)
It was slow - it didn't have the action and thrills of Iron Man - which would be why I guess it hasn't done as well (not to mention the fact that over here it hasn't been made a huge thing - not even a small thing in fact *sighs*) - but DAMN it was good. I was giggling like a crazy person spotting all the little bits in the credits (yes - I know they changed things - one main thing - but they did it well - I think).
Edward Norton = my Bruce Banner - for me he was a perfect fit. So I am now a happy fan girl. Both of my favourite boys have finally been well cast (have I mentioned how happy I am they got Iron Man right first time??).
So yup - it was slow - it took a while to get into - but I liked it muchly. My friend thought it was ok, but she's not a really into the Hulk (well - some of it she is - but I'm a real geek in comparison - plus she hasn't seen Iron Man).
Bruce was so well written *huggles* - and Hulk *melts* - yeah, I'm good here ;)
One thing - question to anyone who knows the old tv series of the hulk (which my parents watched and liked *g*) - the security guard? wasn't that....?? *squeals* just checked IMDB - it was! *happy sigh*
Loved Stan's cameo in this one - AND TONY!!! *coughs* (I WANT the avengers film like now please *puppy dog eyes*)
(now so tempted to write a sequel to that Hulk cross I did for sg-1 years ago....)
