Torchwood - OMG!

This would be me posting in reaction to the season 2 finale of torchwood - behind a cut

OMG *cries*

So I spent a few minutes worrying that Ianto was going to die (via radiation - which really would have broken me *eep*) - yes silly me - but comments from various places about how the title was fitting and jack being made to pay....yeah *coughs*

It was a really good episode! considering that for me this season started brilliantly then slowly started to slide back downhill, this episode was brilliant - even if the ending broke my heart :'(

PC Andy was as good as ever - Rhys was good (he seems to have accepted now that Gwen does what she does and there's nothing he can do to stop/protect her - so he'll just stand by her and support her as long as he can *huggles rhys*)

I saw the Grey thing coming - but it was still sad - loved John having his redeeming features shown (a 'bad' guy who has a good side *jaw drops*) - and james masters was very good - though it must be said that in this episode?? Naoko was soooooo good - she broke my heart *cries*

I really honestly didn't see her death coming - as soon as Owen headed to the power station I knew that was it for him (I had a feeling that would happen - plus it resolves the whole 'dead owen' thing - though burn did say he was in season three at one point *glares*).

When she got shot - by Grey - *meep* - and all the way though, she wasn't going to give up trying to save Owen - and lying to him *eep* - I loved that whole bit - it was heart breaking but *damn* that's the way a death scene should be done *nods*

I {> so much the fact that they died together - it added something to it - they weren't together together but that didn't matter. (I REALLY hope Owen did die - Burn commenting on that you didn't see it so anything could happen? seriously - don't - leave it be - it's a thing of pretty)

Naoko *sniffs* she was just *cries*

I am SOOOO going to miss Tosh :( - but it was done well - the video at the end?? Her telling Owen *cries* that broke what hadn't been completely broken before - it just WORKED.

*sighs*

RIP Owen Harper and Toshiko Sato - you'll be missed

EDIT: IN relation to the campaigns that have been started to bring them back, I'm not going to get involved - for a number of reasons = 1. typically the bringing back of the dead character cheapens how they died, 2. People die, having no one ever die in a TV show would be unrealistic, 3. It was a GOOD death, done very well and holding a lot of meaning, issues I've had with other deaths don't apply here (It actually reminded me a little of Marcus' death in B5 *sniffs*)

I really will miss Tosh though :(
