help_haiti is a auction-y community set up to raise money following the earthquake in Haiti.

Second: I have to ask this following news that there might be a US remake of Torchwood (clearly they feel the same as SFX, (Torchwood pre-COE 'too welsh' apparently)) amongst others (Skins, the now airing Prisoner) BUT - has the UK ever remade an American show?
(Other than reality TV - 'So you think you can dance' - the others, from what I know, all went the other way like most of the genre shows.)
I can list all the ones that have been remade/almost remade into US versions (it should be noted, I LOVED the UK version of 11th Hour, I haven't watched the American one - also, I can provide the list if you want it ;)) - but I can't think of more than one that have gone the other way (Law and Order: UK I'm looking at you.)
part three of fic will be posted friday - after I've handed in my castles essay o-O.
