Torchwood - part two *g*

weaselettOkay - so following on from yesterday - here be the Weasel's thoughts on Episode Two - spoilers for eps 1 and 2
*points wildly* SEE I knew that Pen would return and be used for something *g*
This episode was ok - but I liked ep 1 better *nods* - I had issues with this one (I watch WAY too much CSI etc not to have gone bwuh? o_O when Jack came out of the concrete incident as he did) whereas there were only a few tiny ones with ep 1. But still it was good *nods*
\o/ More Ianto/Rhiannon-ness, which was cool (though, Ianto's da was ebil to him?!? but....*frowns*) - I also now LOVE the brother in law (also - 'we're the only family he has'...Ianto's mam is dead?) - though him stealing her car and running off was a bit abrupt if understandable - also - I love his nephew's comment when the card came *lol*
Loved the Gwen/Rhys scene in the potato lorry (ahhh King edwards *giggles*...though being seasonal and all - doesn't that make it autumn/winter time for COE being set?)
Plus ANDY *eeeee* 'she shot the wheels' *giggles* (and they DROVE RIGHT PAST IANTO - who called gwen at home *giggles*)
I laughed at the Ebil peeps - fancy putting all of the Jack bits in the same bag (have these people not read osiris myth? or you know the dozen like it? lead boxes are the way to go *g* - yeah I know he had to be in bag etc - it just would have been more fun if the team had to run in and steal boxes and Ianto got to do the isis bit *blushes*)
When Gwen and Rhys got caught? I turned sagely to the mother and said 'it's a good thing Ianto's outside isn't it?' - JCB FTW (though ma was miffed and questioned that this could happen - we then agreed the issue was more the weight of the concrete than the JCB it's self)
Plus gwen's guns are MAGICAL for sures.
Lois is so headed for a painful death - though I like her (ma and I both hope for her sake she printed that stuff off in her break/or at home - otherwise....how did no one notice?)
Ebil!prime minister is EBIL. He will die soon *nods*
But yeah - twas' interesting, but not so good as episode one - though now we're past that bit hopefully it'll pick up again *nods*
EDIT - Ianto doesn't seem to have a car of his own (judging from Day One - not so much this episode as he's meant to be on the run - but the suggestion generally seems to be he doesn't have a car)
Okay so updated list- bold are new, italics have happened, normal are ongoing
-SUV was stolen by kids paid by EBIL people
-Gwen's pen shall appear again and be important
-Gwen will almost lose the baby....but not
-Ianto/Rhiannon or the kids will get hurt in some manner
-Jack's daughter will be hurt in some manner
-Jack will be captured then escape
-EBIL!girl will turn good cos the government are stupid
-Government peeps will get killed
-Lois will die/be injured
-Team will turn on each other
-Team will have a 'small worlds' moment with Jack regarding whatever happened in scotland
-Part of the 456's plans that they sent will lead to bad for governmenty people involved (they built a booby trap or something that will kill them? I don't know - I just think there's more to it, well I HOPE)
